March 1st: Day 1 - Arrive in Delhi, India

Arrive in Delhi today and get transferred to your hotel.

Check-in and rest.

First group dinner in the evening.

PLEASE NOTE: It is important that you plan your flight to arrive in India no later than March 1 (India Time). For some people that could mean you are leaving your area TWO days before March 1st to accommodate the time change.

March 2nd: Day 2 - Flight to Varanasi


Located 13 km northeast of Varanasi, Sarnath is among the famous Buddhist pilgrimages in India. After achieving enlightenment at Bodhgaya, the Buddha came to Sarnath seeking his former companions and thus gave his first sermon here.

After breakfast you will transferred to the Airport for flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival you will visit Sarnath en-route to the hotel.

Overnight stay in the hotel.

March 3rd: Day 3 - Varanasi


Enjoy a sunrise boat ride down the Ganges along Varanasi's rivers edge.

Witness the daily morning life of Varanasi natives.

Walk the historic narrows streets along the river's edge.

Visit local ancient temples.

Enjoy the traditional evening aarti (blessing ceremony) along the banks of the Ganges.

March 4th: Day 4 - Flight to Delhi, Drive to Agra to Agra


After breakfast at the hotel. You will transfer to the airport and fly to Delhi.

After arrival we will transfer to a bus and head to Agra.

This travel day will end with a nice dinner and some rest!

March 5th: Day 5 - Agra and the Taj Mahal


Sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal.

Bus Ride to Delhi

Check into hotel for dinner and rest.

March 6th: Day 6 - Bus ride to Haridwar


Haridwar or "Gateway to the Gods" is one of the most popular Hindu pilgrimage places. River Ganges enters the North Indian plains at Haridwar. Hindu pilgrims and devotees gather at Haridwar to offer prayers on auspicious occasions.

After breakfast we leave for Haridwar by bus.

Upon arrival in Haridwar we will check into hotel.

Enjoy the River Aarti.

Dinner and Evening Group Meditation.

March 7th: Day 7 - Haridwar


Breakfast at the hotel.

Optional early morning walk along the river's edge in Haridwar.

Visit local temples.

Group dinner.

Evening Program with Lauren and Hazel.

March 8th: Day 8 - Rishikesh


Breakfast at hotel.

Leave for Rishikesh by bus.

Check in at Hotel.

Evening River Aarti.

Evening program with Lauren and Hazel.

March 9th: Day 9 - A Day in Rishikesh

(Breakfast/ Lunch Box/Dinner)

After breakfast at the hotel.

Morning Meditation with Lauren and Hazel.

Explore Rishikesh.

Visit the retired Beatles Ashram.

March 10th: Day 10 - Celebrate HOLI in Rishikesh


Breakfast at hotel.

Off to Holi Celebration.

Afternoon relaxing and option to explore Rishikesh.

Evening Program with Lauren and Hazel.

March 11th: Day 11 - A Day in Rishikesh


Morning Meditation with Lauren and Hazel.

Afternoon to explore Rishikesh.

Evening program at Neem Karoli Baba's Ashram.

March 12th: Day 12 - Leave Rishikesh for Delhi


Bus ride to Delhi.

Check in to hotel, dinner and rest.

March 13th: Day 13 - Delhi


Explore the amazing streets of Old Delhi.

Explore the Lodi Gardens.

Visit Hindu Temple.

Last dinner as a group in India.

March 14th: Day 14 - Depart for Home


Depart for home.

March 14th: Day 14 - Depart for Nepal


Transfer to airport and fly to Kathmandu.

Transfer to hotel and check in.

Dinner at the Boudhanath square.

March 15th: Day 15 - Tour Through Kathmandu


Visit the Patan Durbar Square.

Visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

Drive to Nagarkot for sunset tour.

Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.

March 16th: Day 16 - Flight over Everest and Afternoon with Kathmandu


Optional flight over Everest in the morning: One of the must-see landmarks of Nepal is, of course, the highest peak in the world - Mount Everest. An awe-stricken silence comes close to matching the experience of a mountain flight. For one hour, you'll fly over the Eastern Himalayan Ranges of Nepal where some of the highest peaks in the world including Mt. Everest lie for a surreal feeling as you come face to face with the world's tallest and most enigmatic of Mountains. Even those visitors who like the rigors of a trek won't miss the opportunity to "conquer" the mountains in one stunning swoop.

Afternoon Exploration of temples in Kathamndu including a visit to Monkey Temple - Swayambhunath Stupa.

PLEASE NOTE: The past earthquake has destroyed few temples in the durbar square premise; while Nepal has been working to restore these temples, you may see structures have sustained minor damages.

March 17th: Day 17 - Depart for Home


Check out and make your way home.

PLEASE NOTE: You will be booking your flight home from this journey to depart from Kathmandu, Nepal.
